Portico bases and pouring of concrete slabs
Preparation of slab for spa set into the deck. Notice the bent reinforcement coming out of the drilled pier approximately 2.0m deep.

Portico concrete bases formed up and ready to be poured. They are 1.5m long, 0.6m wide and 1.0m high, they are 0.4m below ground.
View of the reinforcement cage in the bases. Due to the concrete loads on the formwork much care was taken to properly brace it and not over vibrate the concrete during the pour.
